イギリスの解剖学者、動物学者Robert Knox(1791-1862)による“A Manual of Artistic Anatomy for the use of Sculptures, Painters, and Amateurs”。

　ポケットサイズの美術解剖書である。美術解剖の歴史、骨学、プロポーション、筋学の順で掲載されている。本書の図版は様々な書籍からまとめられており、骨格と筋の図はFau、女性骨格図はSommering、 プロポーションと筋肉図はBourgery、顔面角はCamperからの影響が見られる。図版は模写で、形態がオリジナルよりも少々劣る。

　Knoxは、1849年にFauのアトラス“Grand Fau”のテキストを英訳している。
